Coronavirus UK Govt info speech

For those who may not be aware , the UK government has a daily chat followed by Q+A , chaired by a cabinet guy [ often the PM] plus normally 2 experts ,if such exists, on the virus .     Questions seem to be asked as wished ,ie unscripted, and answered truthfully, which is refreshing where a politician is involved . Example ' Could the Minister explain how many people will die ?' If that was normal times , the answer would be a detailed description of the number of new houses being built, or some other relevant items [ to the politician that is, the enquirer is irrelevant]. Now the answer seems to be ' we hope to limit the deaths to 20,000, but that depends on the population behaving themselves' . The 20K number has been mentioned a few times so one can conclude [ and they've said it too] that this would constitute a GOOD RESULT . Today the chat went : 1. The military is now involved and will be coordinating various things . 2. People are mostly doing as asked ...

Thoughts on God

If you read my articles before this post , he idea of what I believe. basically the Universe [not just ours]  consists lots [ possibly a googleplex or vastly more !] of other unverses [ of which ours is just one]. These all curl up inside themselves to create to an outside observer [if thats possible to see] a singularity , which on aggregate has zero energy, time and , of course , dimensions. Each universe has within it, lots of others , like the archetype russian doll... Time flow , goes from hugely negative at the outside edges, to it's equivalent at the epicentre [ although there might be a negative section caught in the centre] . If one could look inwards into a universe the equivalent distance then time flow would be slower at that point as it is 'younger. [ or if that universe is the other way round , then  faster . Whether it's possible to into an area of zero dimensions, is a moot point, but hey , ho, technology improves all the time ... However , if one could l...

the speed of Light

Ant theory of the universe has to address this problem as it has been shown to be correct time and time again [ incidentally , look up einstein's equation proof, it's not as  difficult as I've often read in the literature] . My theory twists it even further by saying 3x10^8 m/s isnt fixed as the time is variable  [ time flows faster the older the universe] so photons sent from a distant part of the universe when 'measured' [ ie seen by us say] the photon now has our time scale and hence a redshift as it converts... So this is a serious requirement for this theory. If we say that the local expansion of the universe is a function of the local time flow , then it follows that the speed of light is related to that expansion. The universe cannot ? be expanding locally at the speed of light , however, for [ what I consider] obvious reasons , and thus must be related to a physical bottleneck . The bottleneck, i'm calling 'the ether' . I know this was shown to...

nature of Time and space ?

If you've just come across this post by accident , I'd like to state that I believe that time is purely a dimension [ see other posts as to why] . It sort of comes out of my hypothesis , and has always sounded strange even to me [ Yeah, I know Einstein also said the same thing but he still went on about time as stuff passing/moving]. However, a thought occurred  to me . If we assume that a species exists which is 2 dimensional . That 2 dimensional 'world' [ to the species of course] let's say is travelling through space at a reasonably steady rate , then 'time'  could be measured as the position of that world in 3 dimensions . It follows that time can be thought of as travelling through the 4th dimension in our universe . Neat analogy ? Quantum mechanics apparently has no time in its equations, which could fit neatly into this concept . ? It also fits wonderfully into my hypothesis which states that time passing is a variable which changes where and when ...

Copralites The UK is unusual in that it [had] about 7 foot of copralite deposits under much of the land . Most was been mined out now during the first world war , appartently the biggest deposit left is under Cambridge. As shit goes , its a wonderful resource , full of phosphates . We can thank the dinosaurs for something at least ! However, The amount of dinosaurs producing that prodigious amount of droppings beggars belief ! The reason it didnt degrade, one assumes is that it was all dropped under water, so all this wildlife was aquatic, something that wasnt expounded upon when i was a kid [ and that's when we get interested in these things ! ] Did this foul sufficient of the water to stop bacteria doing its own business , rather than fossilising the stuff ? I suspect the beaches wouldnt have got a cleas bill of health for bathers in those days .....

why do men bald ?

Well , it's a big subject and multi million pound industry . I'm a big fan of Elaine Morgan whos' 1972 book 'the descent of Woman' raised serious thoughts in my head. The book is an absolute must read if you are interested in human evolution . It postulates that Man at some point went back into a water existence, and covers the evidence supporting this [ Lots and lots] . I think it was written before 'Lucy' was discovered in an African lake , but that was just further evidence in my opinion . It was never taken seriously in the scientific community , I believe due to its controversial title [ 1970's was the Feminist era after all]. Anyhow, evolution is basically a species trying to maximise its population , so any extra energy requirement which serves no purpose will tend to die out over the generations . I can't recall if she covered this in the  book , but long hair in an aquatic environment would give children something to hang onto, and so cou...
Theory of the universe again . Time becomes a problem, but if you view it instea as ticks of the Universe ,life becomes slightly less strange. One tick if the interval where one double particles comes into existence . Thinking this way therefore removes the problem oftime flow speeding up asthe Universe matures . The 'size ' of the universe then becomes V=V 0 ( T +1)/T where T is the number of universe ticks and V 0 is the starting volume of the positive half . A doubleton , would fly away at a huge rate of acceleration ., with the negative section obviously decelerating rapidly once 'free' to maintain energy equilibrium . More later
