nature of Time and space ?

If you've just come across this post by accident , I'd like to state that I believe that time is purely a dimension [ see other posts as to why] . It sort of comes out of my hypothesis , and has always sounded strange even to me [ Yeah, I know Einstein also said the same thing but he still went on about time as stuff passing/moving].
However, a thought occurred  to me . If we assume that a species exists which is 2 dimensional . That 2 dimensional 'world' [ to the species of course] let's say is travelling through space at a reasonably steady rate , then 'time'  could be measured as the position of that world in 3 dimensions . It follows that time can be thought of as travelling through the 4th dimension in our universe . Neat analogy ? Quantum mechanics apparently has no time in its equations, which could fit neatly into this concept .
?
It also fits wonderfully into my hypothesis which states that time passing is a variable which changes where and when it is sent from and where/when it is measured ........ If that sounds like time is a weird concept which has no meaning , again look back in this blog to see that it can have meaning if you ditch time as we know/measure it , but consider quantum time passing as the bringing into the universe [nett] of a new pair of fundamentals . This expands the universe locally [nett] and thereby creates a 'reasonably steady of travel' [ to use the above wording] .

As a total aside to this , does this mean to some/most? species, time may not be a concept ? Maybe the statement 'to a dog, there is only NOW' is actually true ? ........
